Vicky and I found a home in downtown Dublin, Ireland on Upper Ely Place.  It's the 3rd & 4th floor of a Victorian building  located across from the Royal Hibernian Academy.  We're one block from St. Stephen's Green, two blocks from the National Museum of Ireland and the National Gallery.  It's about four blocks from Trinity College where I have an office as co-director of the Center for Telecommunications Value-Chain-Driven Research.  A short commute through Phoenix Park is all it takes to get to Lucent's facility in Blanchardstown, the home of Bell Labs Ireland.

The building is at the end of Ely Street Upper.  Our place is on the 3rd & 4th floor through the green door at the end.  (I think the different color doors might be helpful after spending some time at Ely's Wine Bar across the street or the pub at the corner.)

A long narrow staircase leads to a glass door between the 2nd floor of the building and our place.

On the first floor is the living room (complete with home theater),

the dining room ...

and kitchen.  There is also a small office off the living room that's not pictured.

Guest bathroom is a half floor up.  The three bedrooms are on the top floor:

the master bedroom

second floor bathroom

the two guest bedrooms.

This is the view from the front and the back.
